A big thank you to all Club members who showed up and worked on Saturday, March 28, to make it a successful “dock put-in” day. The weather was perfect, and all work was completed by 4 pm.
Three improvements recommended by Club members had a positive impact for slip out-in and safety:
- The use of telehandlers resulted in a safer and more productive way of managing the day.
- Using racket straps allowed us to transport uneven weighted dock piece without anyone needing to ride on them.
- The new shackles with the cotter pin simplified the connection of the weights to the docks.
Carter Lake opens on Wednesday, April 1. The North Pines ramp will be open on weekends.
