Racing

Carter Lake Sailing Club has an active racing program for sailors of all experience levels. The highlight of the racing season is the Carter Lake Open in early June each year.

PHRF racers should get a PHRF certificate from S.A.I.L by clicking here. Individual memberships to SAIL are $20 per year and include a PHRF certificate.  A membership to SAIL  supports regional sailboat racing and helps to sponsor educational events such as the annual race management training and winter seminars. 

Club racing is scheduled throughout the season and listed below.  The club also has several special events along with a youth sailing program. All club members are encouraged to participate in the various racing events. The Chair of the Race Program is Tim Harriman (race@sailcarter.org ).
