The Sailing Instructions for the 2026 Carter Open Regatta have been posted on the racing page.

Carter Lake Sailing Club is excited to host the 67th Annual Carter Open Regatta this weekend June 13 & 14.  First signal will be at 11:55 on Saturday and 10:55 on Sunday. Please see the Notice of Race for details.

The 67th Annual Carter Open Regatta will be held on June 13-14, 2026.  Registration fees are $100 for boats over 16 feet, $80 for boats under 16 feet and $50 for junior skippers.  EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS MAY 31.  Registrations after this date will be charged a late fee.  Please register here and contact race@sailcarter.org with questions. Racers, The weather forecast for tomorrow anticipates a 70% chance of thunderstorms by 11AM.  That likelyhood increases to 90% by 3PM.  It does not sound like a safe or enjoyable day.
