Long-time CLSC members Mike and Jackie Gurley were presented the Club’s Lifetime Contribution Award at the Club’s annual fall banquet. The Lifetime Contribution Award honors the Gurleys for their years of service to the Club–from serving multiple times as Vice Commodore, Commodore and Rear Commodore; being members of the Board throughout the years and serving in all positions but treasurer and race committee chair; and overseeing Oktoberfest, an annual favorite potluck. If there is something that needs done in the Club, Mike and Jackie are among the first to volunteer. The task–whether it’s sweeping the floor to working with the Club’s insurance company–has never mattered to the Gurleys. They just always want to be of service to the Club. Well deserved honor!
