CLSC Junior Sailing Camp participants and Junior Leaders came out in full force–along with seven sailors from Sail Durango–for the 2026 Junior Sailing Regatta on Saturday, July 18. Twenty-six boats–nine Lasers, two Laser IIs, five Teras, four Sols, four Sunfish and two Topazes–made for a fun and highly competitive regatta.

Younger campers racing on Sunfish, Topaz and Sols tested their new sailing skills during three races while more advanced junior sailors were on the water on Lasers and Laser IIs for six races and the Teras for seven races. The race of the day was the final race of the day when nine Lasers, two Laser IIs and five Teras jockeyed to cross the start line first and showed amazing start line skills. (Photo to the left)
